Dear DanielaMany thanks for your email & interest in Figs & Rouge products – hopefully we can answer all your questions below:We do not test on animals or commission third party tests on animals with our products. We are satisfied that none of our suppliers test their ingredients on animals. The new law relating to animal testing in the EU which takes force in July 2013 ensures that all cosmetics products sold in the UK & Europe are not to be tested on animals during their development. We think this is fantastic news as all products for sale must meet this standard.(Anmerkung: eine neue EU-weite Kosmetikrichtlinie ist mit 11.03.2013 in Kraft getreten. Hier könnt ihr nachlesen was dies im Bezug auf Tierversuche nun bedeutet.)Our products are sold in Hong Kong & On-line (e-commerce web-sites) in China. With regards to Animal testing in China (We presume this is what you are referring to?) It is only when products are sold & imported to physical stores in mainland China where animal testing is required as per China’s current cosmetics laws. Our lip balms & hand creams have their ingredients listed on our website. www.figsandrouge.com Our New 100% Natural formulation is animal product free & contains only natural plant & mineral derived Petroleum free formulations. We hope this helps with your understanding of our product range.Have a lovely day!Kind regards
